By not wanting to censure Privette, which is basically the official way of saying he's been a bad boy, all commissioners caved in to the few kool-aid drinkers that Privette still has.

During the October 2007 commissioner meeting all commissioners, except Privette of course, agreed to censure Privette. Jay White would write a motion to do so and it would be voted on during the November meeting.
Jay White even said “I’ve heard judges say one time is a mistake, two times is a pattern, six times is a history.”
Then during the November meeting he's the first one to propose to table the censure motion he wrote himself.
If that's not a reversal of position then I don't know what is.Thierry Wernaershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18425107349559674853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1769659900634709753.post-57573889293447726452008-01-01T09:39:00.000-05:002008-01-01T09:39:00.000-05:00Theirry - Privette finally caved inYet, he's still...Theirry - Privette finally caved in

Yet, he's still there.

Not quite caving. As a matter of fact, I think he did a pretty good job tricking the media and the public.

I feel screwed; but I don't think I'll be getting a blank check.

Heck, these days you apparently can't even publicly say anymore that what Privette did was wrong. Hopefully that'll change in 2008.

Show me where even one of the Commissioners reversed their position on Privette.

Steve - I'll bet he even tries to run again

I don't think he'll even be around.

All of this follow patterns of certain late-in-life sicknesses.
